June 6, 2011 -- There's a new summer theme for the popular ZhuZhu Pets hamsters—ice cream. It all begins with brand new brightly colored ZhuZhu Pets. These colorful pets still incorporate their own individual sounds, personalities, unique birthmarks, and silly names like the original ZhuZhu Pets, but now they come in a rainbow of different bright, summertime-inspired colors and patterns. Each colorful ZhuZhu Pet retails for about $9.99. With the Ice Cream Parlor, kids can pretend that the playful hamsters can order ice cream from the drive-thru or scoop it up inside the ice cream parlor. This playset comes with a variety of themed accessories. It retails for about $19.99. The Ice Cream Truck is ZhuZhu-powered. Place one of the hamsters inside the vehicle to watch it "drive" the truck. The truck also plays music, just like real ice cream trucks. This playset comes with a driver's hat for your ZhuZhu Pet to wear and cardboard ice cream pieces. It retails for about $12.99.
